Rev. Jim Letizia ::  Senior Pastor – Pastor Jim was originally born and raised in Ohio, but has spent his entire adult life in sunny South Florida where he met his wife Linda. They've been married for 33 years and have two adult sons. Pastor Jim and Linda have been at New Covenant for 25 years, and in 1998 Jim became the Senior Pastor. After graduating from Knox Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity, he is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry.

Described by many as a jack-of-all-trades, Pastor Jim is a commissioned Chaplain in the United States Air Force, and the Florida Wing of the Civil Air Patrol. He holds a Private Pilot’s License, and can be seen around town at many a classic car show with his home restored classic mustangs. email: jletizia@newcovenantfl.org

Rev. Phil Letizia :: Assistant Pastor of Worship and Outreach- Phil was born and raised in South Florida and is the son of Jim and Linda Letizia. Phil grew up at New Covenant and joined the staff in 2007. He was recently married to his new wife Jenny in January of this year. Phil is an avid reader and leads a book club at a local Barnes & Noble, and an adjunct instructor at Trinity International University- Florida Regional Center in Davie, FL. email: pletizia@newcovenantfl.org

Linda Letizia :: Director of Music & Arts/Office Manager- Linda can often be found reading a book or baking something in the kitchen, both lifetime passions. She is also one of those rare people actually born and raised in south Florida. A classically trained pianist, Linda has served in the church since she was 12 years old and holds a degree in Music from Palm Beach Atlantic University and continued graduate studies in music at Southwestern Baptist Seminary. 

She also enjoys producing and directing musical and/or dramatic presentations, teaching, finding new restaurants, and being with her family. Linda has been married to Pastor Jim for over 30 years and has two adult sons. email: lletizia@newcovenantfl.org

Sherrie Vera :: Director of Children’s Ministry - Born and raised in Miami, Sherrie is married to her husband Miguel, and has two children, Michael and Jose.  Sherrie has had different careers, but working with children is the greatest job she’s ever had.  Coming to New Covenant, has allowed her to experience real family for the first time. She says, “When you can come to a place and hug someone and feel genuine love, that’s family. When you can look into these kids' faces and see the love of Jesus, you know your home!!” Sherrie has a heart for teaching the gospel to children and helping them grow in their faith. email: svera@newcovenantfl.org
