I AM the Resurrection and the Life

This is an amazing thought: A God who is indescribable. We may ask, how do we know that He's indescribable? All we have to do is go out any starry night, look up and see that we are worshiping a God who is beyond our wildest dreams. Scripture says, “The heavens declare the glory of God”. God is amazing, He is indescribable, incredible, and bigger than anything we can ever imagine. He is greater than anything we have ever dreamed, He is greater than a huge step of faith we could only hope to make, He is greater than our biggest prayer. All we have to do is look up, and see what the psalmist says, that the heavens are telling us about the glory of God, and the skies are proclaiming the works of His hands. Day after day the psalmist wrote, don’t count Him out, or don’t sell Him short. God is huge, He is ginormous. He is a billboard in the heavens who tells us these things about Him every single day. Scripture says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” We are all on the same path, to discover the mystery of creation. Do we believe this? God in Christ for the glory of Christ has given us Hope for our future, and a future that began the moment we put our trust and faith in Christ, and Christ alone. Then Jesus steps into the picture and makes these thoughts personal to us. All this culminates in the fifth I AM of Jesus. That is, Jesus proclaims, "I AM the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in me shall never die.” And then Jesus adds something we cannot overlook, and that is the question to each of us: Do you believe this? Jesus said, “I and the Father are one, and together I hold the keys of life and death. I am the foundation, the power of life itself, and I have the power to raise people from the grave. I don't just teach the resurrection; I am the resurrection. I am the very power of God unto life." He said, “I AM the resurrection and the life.” God is indescribable, uncontainable, the One who placed the stars in the sky and He knows them by name. You are amazing God. Do we believe this?
