Jesus was profound when He blessed those who believed in Him by telling them, "But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear." Truly we have a special insight for the things of God, not because we deserve them, or we have earned them in anyway, but because God is gracious to those who call Him Lord. God wants us to see Him in His sanctuary, both in beauty, and in the splendor of His Holiness.
Our worship environment is extremely important in today's worship experience. It should be an environment that captures the beauty and splendor of God through a worship design that emulates God's majesty. The use of color and art that captures the attributes of God is an acceptable visual. Godly visual beauty is blessed by the Lord for use in our worship service.
Do you have a sense of the presence of God in your time of worship? For if we do not, we cannot be moved to worship and glorify God. Let us be visual to see with spiritual eyes a place that exalts the presence of God in our time of worship. "Oh Lord, I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory" (Ps. 63:2).
