Waiting on the Lord. Do we continue to wait on the Lord when He seems to be significantly silent? Do we move out on our own then? Abraham and Sarah faced a similar dilemma in their journey with the Lord. Waiting is a factor of time. Yet time is not the same for God as it is for us; therefore, we must view life's difficult circumstances with a patient and waiting attitude in order for God to show us what He wants us to do.
Do you take matters into your own hands when God seems to be silent? Do you find it difficult to wait for God to speak on your behalf? You are not alone, as this is one of the most difficult areas for believers to conquer. Ask God to help you to view waiting as a virtue that brings peace and solitude - not worry and frustration.
