Christianity is motivated by a "King and a Kingdom." Our motives for anything is at the heart of mans passion to find happiness and fulfillment in life. Our reason to want things in life is driven by our sense of desire and longing to feel good in an otherwise confusing and often times cruel world.
"For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the Glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ" 2 Cor. 4:6
Those who see the face of God in the person of Jesus Christ, truly are a peculiar people called out of this world by God, and for God. If we look at the picture of the Kingdom described to us throughout the Bible, we will know the ultimate passion for living, which is to live life eternally with God.
How do you see the Kingdom of God, and does your view of it follow the scriptural view of a place where you are part of a Royal Priesthood, a Holy Nation? A place where no darkness or despair, or disappointment are allowed? Is that your view? Is that your passion?
